Good evening all! I'm a first time poster on this site but have posted on the fish ontario forum many times under the same user name. Anyways I have time coming off work soon and need info on icefishing by Northport. I'm staying with a friend in Northport and I have never fished this part of the bay on hard or soft water. I have fished Picton bay a ton of times. My trailer is on westlake so I know the area pretty good. I just don't know about where I can park my vehicle and get on the ice in northport. I plan one day on picton bay for sure, but was thinking of trying somewhere else close to northport, to avoid to much time in the car and not enough on the ice. Any info would be appreciated. I'm not looking for someones honey hole just general info like parking, bait store, directions, closest LCBO (LOL) ETC...

There is a small park right in the North part of the village with water access just north of the Northport bakery. It has some fishing tackle but not sure of bait. The closest LCBO would be in Picton i'm pretty sure. Summer fishing near the narrows[further east] is good . I don't ice-fish much and haven't heard of reports from the area....Larry
