Salmon have already started to make the run. Went to the salmon river (Pulaski) yesterday and the fishing was insane. Water levels are so low that salmon are staging in the deeper pools and it was like shooting fish in a barrel. I wont even tell you how many fish I hooked because nobody would believe it. I dont usually fish for Salmon but went up with a friend. (I prefer steelies) The fights were incredible with a 40inch fish being my largest. It is nice to see the NY fishery and hatchery doing well.
