The Central Lake Ontario Sport Anglers are holding the next general meeting at the Carrying Place United Church, Wednesday September 19th at 7 pm. 20 Old Portage Road. The general public is welcome.

Jim Hoyle, Assessment Biologist, Lake Ontario Management Unit, Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources will be giving an up-date on the creel assessment done on the Bay of Quinte this summer. It should be very interesting, as it has been a number of years since the OMNR has done a creel assessment for walleye on the Bay. Also Jim is looking for anglers that will be interested in recording information in a boat diary this fall for the Bay of Quinte. CLOSA members have been keeping boat diaries for 10 years on Lake Ontario for trout and salmon and I hope a few will be involved in this new program.

Also I will be giving a PowerPoint presentation on fall walleye angling dealing with in-lines vs big boards, speed, lead core, and the hot lures last fall. Hope to see you there.

Al

How late do the meetings usually go?

I'm considering driving down for it.
