Walleye Central - SOLD

Hey guys/gals,

I don't know how many of you from the Quinte Fishing board also follow Walleye Central from the U.S.

But the owner/brainchild for 17 years - Scott Golden just sold his website to a Canadian Company.

"Vertical Scope" - It looks like they own over 600 sites in 6 countries. - wow!

The ads have already started to appear on the site.

I don't know how you do it Dan but hats off to you!

Its easy when its somthing you luv and who doesnt luv fishing. I put this site up in 1997 so not far behind Scott at 15yrs now

Scott Golden has been on my email list for most of the 15 years, we communicate every once in a while, last time was when I sent him a picture of him advertising in a Canadian Magazine.

I'm sure he is happy with his sale, the Walleye Central had a lot of his character in it.

We are all VERY happy with the fine job and and efforts of Dan Elliott for his Quintefishing.com.

To echo the others regarding this site, same here Dan. Thanks from me as well.

It's much appreciated to have such a great local site run by a great local guy. I hope it stays this way for as long as you enjoy having it. And I hope that is for a long time.

I follow this site regularly even though the bay is 4-5 hours away and I only make it down once a year. Much appreiciated.

I have been here on and off for years and I still feel like its family when Im on here. We have family like our honoured Super DAD. Raised me from a minnow. Love the site Dan. It's always a heads up for going to the cottage on Hay Bay.
