IF any one as the ability to raise a sunken boat, there is two young men, that would be very happy if you were to assist them.
Forgot to put the plug in.
They also have a broken trailer so they wont be able to reload the boat.
We had a blown motor so had to take the boat out at finkle (launched in bellville)
so as are 2 hour ordeal was finally ending we helpless watched this take place.
I am hoping some one can help them out.

The ministry may take an interest in this because of the oil and gas,(if still on board), as for the pollution factor and may require them to hire a diver.
Glad to hear they were able to get ashore safely!!

I'd agree...it's my understanding that the Ministry will need to be involved if it's a certain distance from shore. My Buddy and I sank his truck years back at the Colins Bay Church ramp. We were lucky that it was submerged but close enough they didn't have to be involved. Just a diver and a tow-truck.

Steve - did you blow your motor? (sorry for hi-hacking)

Nope not my boat (motor), was fishing as a non. we only had two boats / two nons in are club, so i gave the other non in are club my day two position. (his day two guy, was my day one guy that blew his motor)
He ended up 7th out of 75 so he did my spot proud.

Scott, it was a older 15-16 foot boat, no idea if they have gotten it out or not, looked like they were going walleye fishing.

The boat was only around 5- 10 feet from shore, but a long ways from the ramp.

My son was scuba diving in the Murray Canal this spring and found 2 vehicles and we reported them to the OPP, one had plates on it that were stollen back in 2004 the other was unrecognisable it was in there so long. They said because there was nobody to charge or to identify the vehicle owner, they would be left in there as "artificial reefs" because nobody will pay for their extraction which runs about $800. I guess the invironment isn't that important if it is coming out of a Government budget, but they will fine us each day past a 4 day grace period ( I think) to get ours out.
Have they gotten their boat out yet and what is the water depth?

Stopped there before dusk, didn't see anything sticking out of the water.

It would be about 50m past the launch toward the chip truck. hopefully that means they got it out.
