Took a drive today up to Deseronto, open water right in front of Deseronto, all the way to the bridge, maybe froze 50' from shore under bridge, drove over bridge to quick short rd, all froze out in front but no tracks or fishermen, looked down towards huffs,(longreach) 3 " Brave" fishermen out from huffs, or good I use another word, That's all for now.LM

S-H, if you had a 12' you could and I have seen this done, push it out over the ice to the open water, but getting back on the ice would be tricky.

Saw quite a few fishing in front of Hay Bay Church with two huts out, one in close near the ramp and one half way across, being pulled by a snow machine. Went to the ramp on Third Concession and saw three huts out in front of Thompson`s Cove. Do not know how thick it is but am trying to go on Sunday.
