I need help (ref. hunting I know it's a fishing board but)

I know it's a fishing board but it's my last resources I shot a 6 pts buck saturday and I kept the musk deer gland so any one know if I can conserve those for next year hunt and if I can how ? freezer ? any tips would be appreciated
