Quinte Fishing

Careful trolling by Keith’s Shoal, was out tonight with Roaster and got hung up on a Floating Jug about 20 yds from the Green Can. After clearing lines I finally got loose, not sure if it was a net or just a buoy with a line but it was pretty secure there. Was dark so we did not pull it up, didn't want to get the motor into it so left it alone. Might have better luck inspecting it in the daylight. Just keep an eye out for it. And by the way , 1 hit, no fish and tons marked. Water temp was 55.

The MNR were out yesterday and setting nets along the south shore of Adolphus Reach and very close to shore. They set one about a mile west of Pryners Launch and another on the east of Pryners Cove.

Some of the nets are marked with only one bottle float.
