looking for some room in the garage for the winter. I came across a guy that charges by the foot for the season, 16' for $160.00 and so on, from now till May 24 weekend. Is this a good deal ? I think so but never looked around. any other contacts on the board ? Thanks k.m.b.f.

If it is $160 from now till May, I would take it. 2 years ago I stored my boat (inside) for $350 for 5 months. December-April. $70/month. I thought that was a great deal considering what it costs to rent a storage unit monthly.

Assuming that is indoor unheated, great deal, if its heated even a better deal.
300-500 seems to be the going rate in my area. but some due a package deal where they winterize the boat as well.

Put the boat away today in storage. The indoor storage was unheatedand and located in Madoc. The place looked ok and he said as long as you moth ball (which I did) you should be ok. All the years he stored boats he only had one problem with mice and the guy put mouse poison instead of moth balls. He still had room if anyone else is looking 613-473-2832 John Kirkland. K.M.B.F.
