It takes me about 3 hours to get to Picton and I was wondering if I should make the trip on Saturday. Looking at the winds, not sure if NE winds are fishable or not. I have a 17.5 ft boat.

http://www.windfinder.com/forecast/adolphustown It won't be that bad...depends on your tolerance for a bumpy ride. It's hard to find a nice day in November to fish Quinte. I'll be out there both days in a smaller boat.

With approx 30k winds, the water will be bumpy for sure. Probably some white caps. NW wind will be pretty rough from Picton to the ferry, but may be bearable on the North shore of Adolphus Reach. Think I'll keep the 16.5" in the driveway.

Here's a map with the direction symbol in the bottom right corner. You should be able to judge the water according to wind direction.

Thanks for the help guys. I am starting to lean towards Sunday now. I'll be in a black tin Triton.

Agreed, but there's a lot of crap in the water from all the nets set along the north side
