I'm looking at a cottage on lake Consecon and wondering if anyone has fished it, I was told it was good for walleye and bass.

I was also told it ran into Wellers Bay. Anyone know how long it would take to get to Picton bay from there at 35-40mph?
(I fish the Picton/Hay bay area a few times a year-fall is awesome!)

I guess what I'm asking is: Is there good fishing at Lake Consecon or close to this area and if so, where and what kinds of fish?
I'm not buying if there is NO FISH!

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Wayne, how big are the walleye?.....my idea of "big" has changed since trolling last fall in Picton Bay! I'm hoping to mount a replica on my wall if I get another huge one this year.

I think I read on this forum there's a good Pike in Weller's too.

THanks again,

Theres good pike on the far side of the lake closest to the main highway, theres a snow mobile trail with a bridge crossing over the lake, in and around that area and beyond is great for pike. I've caught 30 inchers off the bridge many times on jerk baits.

The fishing at consecon is unbelievable i have fished it since i was eight yrs old and thirty now..ive been doing private guide services on this lake fo over six years and the fishing always amazes me..not the same size as tye bay but as for numbers its great..the lake is landlocked and you either have to know somebody or launch at the trailer park..its very underfished because of this with an amzing fish population..smallmouth or massive if you know where to look, tons of structure in that lake of all sorts, i love it..i know the post is old but if you ever need some help with that lake, then i can put you on fish...hope you had a blast when u did go there, and be careful of the at lake consecon resort launch there is big boulders and itll rip your traiker apart if its a low boy, dont back up to far ita better to rip your boat off trailer there then let it float off atleast you can guide it betqeen boulders that way..also a big waterline a ft under the water forty ft in front of that launch that feeds the trailer park be careful and keep an eye out for it as its very hard to see
