C.C. Shad in silver seems to be working in Hay Bay. I didn't have any real time to fish tonight as I had to get back to work, but was able to throw a couple of casts off shore before the sun went down. There was a fallen tree off of a rocky shore line that I cast beside. 2nd cast slowly retrieving (and I mean slowly) I hooked into a 5 Lb male I think. (There were no eggs any ways)

I'll be out tomorrow with my dad and will let you know how I make out.

You can't go wrong with Cotton Cordels in shallow water (below 15ft). They are my go to lure on WestLake. I love the Metallic Perch and the purple colour.
