This is only one of many who are importing these fish, some by the thousands. It's bad enough the asian carp is heading this way let alone the threat of even another of the invasive species adding to what we already have in our waters.
The dealers should be put right out of business completely along with jail time and fines.

I think they should just ban import/export of that fish in all prov. and states surrounding the great lakes area. It seems to me its only a matter of time

I beleive it already is banned, as thse fish are voracious and dangerous. These things can actually cross over land to another close body of water, are very aggressive, territorial over area and their fry, will also attack people!

I agree...ban the beasts and close the shop.

I've seen an episode about these and they are incredibly voracious and can live in pretty much a mud puddle.

I was glad to see this posted.

I would like to see outright bans and far stiffer penalty's on across the country. A few examples can set a tone.

Glad they nabbed him but punishment isnt enough..60 days I can live with but 2 yrs probation for his store? forget it,why give him a 2nd chance,close him down and terminate his license...he knows the laws not to mention what he has done or could be done by his actions...
