Tylercurt and I got out for a fish on Wednesday morning. Launched from the ferry around 7:15 and worked the area just East of the ferry down to Keith's. 4 rod spread with 2 boards and 2 long lines. TD-11's, Sebile, and Reefs were the weapons of choice. The morning started off slowly, trolling through the massive schools of baitfish and over numerous large hooks without a hit. Lures got changed from neutral colours to bright colours, back to neutral colours... After what seems like 6 months of trolling, we finally have a board drop back while making a turn. Tim graciously allows me to take his rod, in his boat, with his lure, and reel in the fish. Thanks Tim, you're first up in my boat when we get out next! The fish ends up being a chunky 27 inch walleye that tipped the scales at 9.5lbs. She took a Grey Ghost Reef over 90 FOW at about 10:00. This is my first fish this fall and it was great to get the monkey off my back. Hopefully it is the start of things heating up as it looked like Chasin' Eyes had a hell of a day out there over the weekend. See you out there Friday!

And yes, I am participating in Movember, I'm not normally this good looking!

Hopefully tomorrow will be our day roaster. I need to get my first ever fall walleye. I'm starting to think these tanks that people speak of are a myth. I as well am participating in the Movember festivities. Pictures from our fish that we catch Friday will show our beautiful staches off. If anybody feels like donating even $5, it would be greatly appreciated. Roaster and I are on a team and thus far we have raised over $1000 for Prostate cancer research in the first 15 days. If you are interested you can pm roaster or myself and we can set things up. Thanks and good luck out there....

Happy to hear things are picking up, and congrats on getting the monkey off your back. We had the same problem on our first trip last week, but as things seem to be picking up, are now looking forward to next weeks trip.

Hey Boys

I have been reading the forum here and there for about 2 years now. Thank you for all the great information. I thought I should finally sign up and help the flow of information. I moved to Napanee 6 years ago and got my first boat 3 years ago. I have been fishing the bay ever since. I have good spots for the spring, summer and hard water walleye hunt and know what works tackle wise. I just can't seem to put 2 and 2 together in the fall to get that fall trophy in the boat. I will try some of your tips this weekend; going out all 3 days. I'm in a white 14 ft alum. that's says "gooys mistress" on the side. hopefully it comes together this weekend.
