Spent an hour this afternnon with board members Al (Trannyman1), Fred fisher and Dave Thompson (-Dave-) as well as some other great people from the Metro east Anglers club, releasing the 10,000 Brown Trout into Athol Bay. Here are some pictures from the event. One picture that I didn't get properly was holding a dead Brown so you could see the size in relation to my hand. They were probably six inches long. The one photo is Fred standing there with the boots on and the Browns swimming around him. This sort of gives you an idea of the size. I don't think Fred's feet are size 13.  Oh, didn't take long for the Seagulls to appear.   Dave

Congrats to all involved in the Brown Trout release at Athol Bay. We all look forward to seeing those little babies when they're a lot bigger on the end of the line in the spring of 2014.

Funny thing about brown trout, they will not stay where they are stocked unless water temps and forage is good. When stocked in certain locations they will move until they find the perfect habitat.
