Had an awesome first day of the Trophy Hunt. 5 for 5 and 2 pike. Going into tomorrow our cottage has the biggest fish with Pikeslayer getting a 12lb 6oz beauty. We got all our eyes east of the ferry...man was it rough!! Here are a few pics, let's hope tomoorrow is even better!

Great looking fish. Sounds like things are starting to turn. The photo of pikeslayer and an eater sure shows the tough conditions you were fishing. Wow.

Nice work and great pics. What size boat you have? Looks rough. Hope to get out there soon. Also out of Hamilton area. I see a day off work soon.

That was windy for sure - good job with the fishing after the previous weeks trying.

Day 2 slowed down for our team, we went 1 for 3. The other 2 boats did quite well and the biggest fish was taken by Cecil from New Brunswick at a whopping 13#7...another wall hanger to go with his 11+ he got just after the hunt last year.

It was a great weekend, had a blast with Pikeslayer and Moose703. Looking forward to doing it again next year!

Thanks to Scott, Joe, Sheldon and John for getting us all on fish and providing us with a very comfortable weekend of fishing. That makes 10 days out for me this fall and for all of you that are on the fence about spending the $500 on the Trophy Hunt weekend let me tell you it is worth it just to fish out of these boats! You have no idea how good a warm lunch tastes on the water until you experience it! And the knowledge you gain is awesome, just seeing how an 8 rod spread is managed is pretty cool, especially when you get a fish on the outside board!! These guys really work their butts off out there!!!
