Fished just west of the Telegraph Narrows from November 19-23.

Monday: zero fish...flat calm conditions

Tues: 4 eyes 30.25" & 29.0" (my wife of course caught these) and i got a 19.5" & 23.5", fish did not hit until there was a small chop on the water.

Wed: zero fish for us. Flat calm. A buddy in another boat got a 9.6 lb eye

Thurs: 1 eye 32.0", 12.1 lbs and 2 pike (wife got a 37"er). Flat calm for most of the day. The eye hit once the wind picked up a bit.

Friday: 1 fish. Used all the juice at full throttle in a 101 lb thrust Vantage to back troll into the Gale force winds to stay vertical for a 23.5" eye

All fish caught on gold or red and black jigs and 4-6" golden shiners

Not the numbers we are used to for our 16th annual jigging trip, but some quality fish, good food, and great company.

Al

Sounds like the chop made a big difference

BTW. Dock is still in at Deseronto as of Friday. Water temps were 41-43 F. Marked a reasonable number of fish and no bait. There is a large excavator working on the shoreline in the Deseronto park. We asked if he could move the rock pile just off the launch and the answer was an emphatic NO....not my job!

Sounds like a couple long days but I was wondering how the bite was there. Glad you reported. Thanks Dave

we saw your boat on Friday, when we crossed the Desronto Bridge on a trip to the 'County'

Thanks for sharing and letting us know the fish are moving.
