Not a bad idea on the committee Grizzly. I would suggest one battle at a time though. Tax dollars are limited and quite simply they just don't have a lot of money to do unplanned works. By the sounds of what you describe people are encroaching and blocking public access points to the lake. That's more of an enforcement issue for the townships by-law group to deal with. With respect to plowing an access to the lake I think you will find that they will not do that as it will open the township/county up to some liabilities if they do it. Meaning that if someone goes onto the ice from that access point the township could be argued as having promoted access by plowing the route and be held liable in court. Big risk and potential big dollars so I suspect they will say away from that..........Wally

yes Mission its as they often say its never quite as easy as it sounds lol but its unfortunate that its often made much more complicated that it is or should be ..... funny you say its a by law and its officers should be addressed but in fact its them who have allowed or ignored these issues to begin with......... in fact i was given a ticket a few years back by a by law officer for parking along side a road to go fishing, it could be made quite simple by putting up signs (Park here) or (No Parking) but this just isnt the case so no one really knows what they can or cant do this is unfortunate....... saame thing as letting people launch at picton or wellington and not pay where the honist peoiple pay to launch, no one is checking if its a money issue on any weekend in picton they could lay down 50 tickets to the abusers of the system this money should go (Back) in the system to finance or better the system . but as you say its never that easy
