Quinte Fishing

Laker John & I hit the water at 0800 and trolled in Hay Bay until 1130, marking a lot of fish but nothing that would take a lure.

Went a shore and cover the boat for the winter and take the battery into the city.

Saw some friends who shared their past week with us, lots of wind and COLD but few fish.......

We hit the water and departed for Hickory Lane to have a look and drown a lure, marked fish in the Reach, but nothing of any substance, Trolled to Huffs Shoal and up and down until 1520, when we finally decided that our fate was of the skunky tyoe.

No Hits - ergo no losses........ Tried all the lure and the Depths - wait til next time. Heard some fish being jigged, but nothing big.

Fishing on a monday certainly beats working David.

You'll be back out again by friday. Tomorrow looks good.

I was also there on Monday with a couple buddies. We tried trolling but had no luck so we spent most of the day jigging in Hay Bay and caught 20-25 fish, mostly smaller but kept a few "eaters." And yes, it still beat a day at work!

Guess even Super Heros are mortals sometimes.
