Thanks for great info guys. With a bit of research, I found out that the 1 piece are much safer due to the fact that less water would get in (as mentioned above) and if any water did get in, your body heat would warm it up as compared to the 2 piece where cold water would keep coming in. I never venture off or take chances on the ice, so it probably wouldn't be an issue either way, but would also like it for the spring and fall on the boat, so I'll most likely go with the 1 piece.

Thanks again

Salus Suits. Made in Canada and every bit as good as other brands and when its time to buy a new one I wont even blink at the thought. imo.

Salus is a Canadian company but some of the floatation suits are made in China.

I know. Just like everything else but you get my point, right?

Not exactly.
My Helly Hansen Delta II was made in Canada. Nova Scotia to be exact.

Somebody mentioned the Integrity HX, I purchased the HX as well and I can tell you that it is extremely warm and comfortable and affords you good mobility. The only negative is that the outside pockets could be a little larger and no inside pockets which is a bummer.
This suit can also double as a Has-mat suit when over-nighting in some of the Picton Hotels :)

Go with the " INTEGRITY HX " you will never regret it.

Agreed....you get what you pay for. My one piece HX is 5 years old now and I love it. Very comfortable to move around in and warm. I looked at 2 piece ones and I like the option of being able to remove the jacket only....but the more I thought about....if you want it to save your life some day...get the one piece. If comfort was my only variable I would just wear my old 2 piece insulated work coveralls...they just don't float.
