Hi all. Just got back from Deseronto + took a good look with my binoculars at the ice. Been too warm for me to take a chance going out. Anyways, there were 3 guys out fishing about half way out towards Foresters Island. Can't imagine they were on much ice as it can go out pretty quick there. Ice is very grey looking + has some slushy snow on it. A small creek at the west end of the parking lot has a good sized open pool of water at ice edge. Also there is about 4" of water maybe 15' wide running along the shoreline all the way to the kids playground on top of the ice. Rental huts are pulled in + grouped maybe 150' or so from shore. Huts across the way on the River Road side appear to be on shore now. There were 4 huts further out from the Deseronto park. No huts or people up towards the bridge. Ice also very grey looking up that way. Thought some of you might be interested in this. We need a cold snap to get the last week in with decent ice." Good fishin", Al
