there should be lots of safe ice on the bay now and on the weekend,but you will still have to know where your going because of current changes,so just because the 6 inches in some places you might loose ice 20 yards away so just be aware of your surroundings and play safe.

went out this morning with Tylercurt and if was F#$%ing cold. Good thing for huts and heaters.

Guys,

Lake Ontario froze over today out in front of Kingston. Some winters it never does. When it does, you know it's freak'n cold.

Winter is finally here.

lil buddy heater and hut will be your best freind out there on days like these thats for sure iam glad iam on water front and dont have to walk out more than 100 yards.

I feel safe(ish) when I see huts at the mouth in Trenton. As of yesterday there was no one out there. There is definitely differing thicknesses out there. I spudded my way out at Baine Park yesterday and found 6" at shore then 3" at 1/4 the way out, then 6" in the middle.
