I was out again this afternoon armed with my new flasher this time but it only frustrated me lol. The bite was tough for me, I also downloaded the Navionics app and thought I picked a great spot and with my Flasher I was ready to slay them. Well only marked 3-4 fish I think still not sure of what's a fish as this was my first time using one but couldn't get them to take my lure? I manged only a 2lber and it didn't even show up on the Flasher so still not sure if it was worth the money but maybe with more experience I will learn to love it. Hoping the morning bite is better. Cheers Sunny

you will love your flasher as you use it more and with time you'll learn to read it better......perch fishing with your flasher will give u a head start on reading it better as you will catch and mark more fish and learn to tease them into biting as they react to what you do.

Ya I am hoping I learn to love it. Just a question I have the Ice 45 and had my Gain setting at 25 is that around normal? I read if your lure is green then it's good?

i have a vex, i tune the gain so my lure is thin green when it's off to the side of my ice hole and a little thicker green when it's straight down, the real trick is learning to see fish hugging bottom and seeing how they react to your jigging/lure to get them to rise, on my vex i see the red on bottom flickering and "growing".
