Superdad,
Quickshort Road is on Long Reach, just north of Huff's road, but on the other side (west side). I am pretty sure you can access Quickshort road if you go over the Bridge at Deseronto and down the Reach on the west side. It is marked on the Bay of Quinte Fishing Map that I have. Are you still looking for that first ice walleye?
By the way, do you have any east coast connection in you past?

BT

Was talking to Lyn tonight. He fished Quick Short + I fished Deseronto park. Neither of us had any luck. I got annoyed by perch + did catch 2. Lyn told me about that Quick Short Road + his luck. I got curious + took a drive to see if I could find it. Drive past Deseronto to Highway 49, turn left, go over the big bridge, turn right at the bottom of bridge, take the 1st right , goes kind of back under the bridge, go about 4 miles, dead end road on your left is Quick Short. Well named. Quite a short road, limited parking, access to ice is basically level. Hope this is of use to you. My 1st time seeing the place. Fishing tip of the day. Lyn,

I was out last Satuday afternoon at Quick Short Road
between 3:30 and 5:30. The wind was incredible. I had
the fish trap spiked. Caught and kept my limit of 15 inch
walleye. All caught on either Nils jigging minnow or jigging
Rapala. Was using champ with 3 minnows. No action. Switched
to jigging Rapala and fish came in. No 10 lbers but the small
ones ended up being my feed for the season. Caught 5 this
year between 9 and 12 lbs. All released.

Heading out to Point Anne with one of the site members. If
I don't show up on Sunday, I was with Don.

Hope to catch one more biggen.

Good Luck,
Times a running out,
BATMAN 8)
