Well I can't complain! Even though I only caught 2, it was the first in 6 years for me. Talk about a run of bad luck!!! But anyway it was great! to finally pull something other than a perch out! The first was 11.5# at pointe anne the other was 10.25# at petes point.Both the same day on that foggy saturday a few weeks ago! Anyway it was great talking to all out there sharing their stories and success!! See yall in the spring

Hey woody,

I never do extremely well ice fishing, but I love it as much or more than soft water for the simple reson, the people I go out with usually make it a great experience for me just the same!


It's the social aspect that keeps me coming back onto the ice, year after year.... :roll:

Well I got 18 fish this year,6 between 9# to 11.5 # all went back,3 slot and the rest were under the slot.The total take for the table was 6,the rest were dinks. :)

good job tdoug!!!! I went twice...once to massassauga and the other out from belleville. Only 1 slot fish and a perch, no complaints though...love going down there. I always worry about the ice though because I am to far away to just go out and check it. so I end up on scugog more often.
Maybe next year I`ll meet you down there.
