Hi all, just read a interesting article in the Whig-Standard this morning, apparently Father Mariusz Zajac from Saskatchewan was fishing Tobin Lake in Northern Saskatchewan in early Jan. for hrs. with no luck ( sounds familiar right Ziffel)
, when just before packing up he decided to jig a little more while reciting the Canticle Of Mary, low and behold he catches this 18.3 lb Walleye.Article say's it was the largest ever caught by an icefisherman( guess they never heard of Quinte walleye)
, Parishioners have been bringing their lures to him on Sundays now to have them blessed! Sooo, if you guys happen to see me on the ice or in the boat this summer reciting the Cantiicle Of Mary you will know why, hey it's just a thought
And I might even take a few lures to church next Sunday, it won't hurt right?LM
