Thanks guys for the support and words of encouragement. I made it out for a fish yesterday and to the sports show today to check out the boats, and yes Randy is still alive I didn't kill him! :)

That was a most surprising, but inspiring post to read. The fishing community is pulling for both of you to come through this 'bump' in the road successfully and hope you end up closer than ever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Wendy (and Randy) and wishing you a complete recovery. I love my wife tons, but don't have the luxury that you two have of being fishing partners as well as life partners. Pretty amazing!! (and a real blessing for you Randy).

I just wanted to post one of the most random acts of kindness Wendy and I have experienced. I took today off so I could spend some time in Kingston with Wendy. It's dinner time so we decided to head to the Lone Star ( right next to the motel ) and order food for pick up and take it back to our room. The bar tender told it would be about 15 minutes or so and we began to chat with an older woman that came in to order take out as well. We spoke for maybe a few minutes and we decided to head to LCBO so I could pick up a few beers to go with dinner. Upon our arrival back to the restaurant Wendy to pay for the meal and the bar keep says " It's already taken care of". She asked if the lady had left or name or anything so we could thank her but the barkeep just said no.

I'm not sure if she reads this forum but if you do madame, we thank you!!

P.S. Dave, Wendy has already met your mom, did you that she is one of our neighbors, small world? p.s.s she looks great.

She told me that she met her up there. Small world for sure its crazy you guys live just down the road from them as well. She has 2 more treatments up there and she is finished with the Radiation. She Mentioned that Wendy had a very good and strong attitude about everything which is key to a great recovery. Maybe we will meet on the water some day out there.
Take care
Dave
