Well looked at the forecast on wind finder for tomorrow, looks like the big lake O might be calm enough to get out on. Has any one been out yet was wondering what the water temp is. Looking to maybe hit the Bonet. or the shoals out off brighton....

Indeed, but be cautious of the storms that are to accompany those relatively light winds. The weather radio will come in handy this weekend boys. The salmon are just beginning to show themselves along the north shore (Whitby west to Port Credit) with a pick up in temps. Surface temps up to 56 in places, but still high 40's down 40 feet. Fishing is still spotty, but some boats having 5 - 10 fish days now with mixes of 'bows and 'ho's, with the odd king mixed in...it's a good sign 'cause we were starting to wonder what the heck was going on.

Alewives are into Wellington. Going to be tough fishing with all that forage.

Al, timing wise, how does their arrival compare with most years? Just thought I'd ask in context of our whacky weather pattern this spring.
