My Hummingbird 570 is not working properly and im looking to try it hooked up to a different transducer to verify if i just need to get a new transducer or if the problem is in the unit. If someone is launching in Trenton here and would be willing to try it for me i can bring it down to boat launch and would very much appreciate it.

I have one. I was heading to Trenton with my boys fishing tomorrow, weather permitting. I'll probably launch on Ontario street around 3:00 or so. I sent you a PM with my call number. You can text me if that works for you.

it will read temp and the depth is accurate with my elite 5. The sonar is not accurate it is all over the place i can hear the transducer clicking and looks to be in great condition. But last year it just stopped outta no where. Im almost positive its just the transducer but wanna make sure. If that's all it is i will search for a cheap one and mount the unit on the bow.

Thanks again to Dave (adventure) for bringing his unit so i could try out my transducer and determine the problem was in the transducer. It was nice meeting you i'm sure i see you on the water again.
Cheers Dave
