I use AMSOIL my self , why ? . a friend recommend AMSOIL and he recommend 100/1 so i did some research over the internet and i decide to become a dealer i had nothing to loose cause there is no minimum requirement and now used 100/1 premix only in my bassboat i have a 1988 merc 220 hp and never had any problem and i have been using it the whole season last year and in mid season i went to a merc dealer and he said you cant use 100/1 its to lean and i called AMSOIL and they told me the oil as been made for that so i still run it and still have no problem, and the reason why is that they have more lubricity agent in it and other stuff !
i know a person that as been using 100/1 in his chainsaw for 20 years and still run
i am an AMSOIL dealer and i do not say other oils are not good they are just different than AMSOIL and they may not use best and better stock to make the better oil
synthetic oil as no crude oil ,they are made in a lab , and petroleum oil can only be refine to a certain grade ,they can not take all the bad stuff out this is why synthetic is better and more expensive than regular oil.
i don't really care if somebody buy oil from other company it's there choice and i am not going to say they have bad oil ! ,i can only tell you what i am selling and for what purpose it is
AMSOIL test all of there products and if a test comes back with just a notch under they will say the oil is just about as good as the competition !
and for the price as a preferred customer is $ 34.70 for a 1 gal. jug to your door and this is tax and ship.in
