Quinte Fishing

The Belleville Police Cops, Kids fishing derby is on Saturday June 22, 2013 from 9am until noon, in the past we have had local anglers meet me at 5:30-6am South George boat ramp and we go out and catch some fish, hopefully at least one Pike, Walleye, large Bass and whatever we can get. We bring the fish over to Victoria Park and put them in livewell generously donated by Quinte Fishing Series. The little ones love to see different kinds of fish and it gives them hope of what they might catch the day of the derby.

So if you can make it to the derby we can always use volunteers, and if you can come fish in the morning to help out that would be great even if you have to take of right after.

Just curious about what your doing. I was hoping to set up an aquarium with native fish from our area, but am not sure how you get the permit to do it. Where did you go, and what was the process and cost like? Thanks.

Thanks for the message.....you have to get a permit from MNR, I used the Glendora Office (Picton). It's free service just lots of paper work. Lucky one of the staff helps out.

Pat. Do you have any volunteers for getting fish for the tank ? I would be willing to take my boat out and catch some fish for the tank.
