so..... today after things could not look worse... ( i won't get into detail of my shi##y day) i decided to take a search and rescue trip down the river to find our 20 year old styrofoam raft... when i round a corner and spot a guy in a starcraft bailing his boat out like a mad man on shore near no houses. i waved and head over to find him knee deep in water on board. he just bought the boat, found a "leak" and his words were " i thought i was gonna loose her" :X
so we weren't too far from my house or the boat launch and i got the 14 footer and 9.9 a blazin and towed him home :) good deed done for the day i think!
came home and had supper and headed out for a troll and ran into randy... had a good time and got a few cats to fry for breakfast. all in all a good day :D

well... lol, i woke up today and went down to the dock and to my surprise there is a 12 pack of my molson canadian sitting beside my shed. took me a minute but realized that the gentleman in the sinking boat noticed the empties at my house and dropped off a 12 for my services :) i know that its a mandatory thing to help someone in need on the water but i didn't expect the guy to do that. hand shake and thank you was all i needed to feel good about myself, but hey :P thank you my friend... hope to see you back out on the water soon!!... above water i might add :P

lol.. i don't think so, i asked if he had remembered to plug her, but who knows... at that point all his electrical was shorting out from the water so even the bilge pump wasn't working  i would do it for anyone in need, and with the current in the trent.. he's lucky we came when we did

I came upon a boat that was taking on water on the bay a few years ago. I could see where the weight of the the guy casting off the bow had pushed the eye bolt under and that was were the water was coming from. From inside the boat they had no idea where the water was coming from.
