Quinte Fishing

Hi everyone. Just back from four days of fishing on Lake Temagami. It was our second year. We did not have a great deal of luck with only a limited number of walleye and lake trout. (again this year) In the past we have always gone to Quebec and we did really well. However the cost was pretty high and there are a number of guys so we try and keep the cost down for each.

Does any one have any suggestions of a good lake that offers lake trout and walleye fishing that is within 6-8 hours of the Peterborough area. Also, do you know any good lodges or individuals that rent cabins?
