Hi All

We were there a few years ago, Actually
Stayed there twice, The first time and the last time!!
They had more rules, regulations and fines than an OPP officer enforcing the Highway traffic Act.

It's now called "County Shores"

www.countyshores.com

Almostinrange was right,

Todd Foster has taken over the operation and has done a ton of updating and reno's to the place. I know they dredged the entry into the docks / boat launch (I've been in there) and they have their tackle shop stocked with the bait and food essentials you need for camping / fishing.

I've seen quite a few of the bigger RV's parked there this season along with the tent campers as well.

If you are looking for a nice, clean full service campground with great water access to Big Bay, Northport, Telegraph Narrows, Desi Bridge, etc.. give them a call. 613 476 7290

The fines are gone, I have stayed there 3 times this year for weekends. The prowler trailers are outdated but for the amount of time you spend in them, its fine. quarter showers with hot water, for the average fisherman it is fine. Don't let the old management scare you off, there is no more fines for leaving fire wood in the pit, or not doing dishes. I think they realized that has hurt the business.
