Trolling motor problem

Hi fellow members,

I used my trolling motor this morning and found out there were strange noise from the trolling motor, no matter what speed I used the trolling blade seem turning in very slow speed, then I tried to take out the blade to check it out but couldn't take out the blade, seems the wing nut didn't come out , can someone tll me what happen?

check for line wrapped around the shaft

Call "The Prop Shop" in Kingston 613-634-7033 he does them right and reasonable...first though, get the blade off and check to see if crap is wound around the shaft.
