It looks as though no one is fishing, their are boats out on the weekend and from talking to a few people, eveyone did well.

My Dad and my wife and I fished Saturday and did well, landed six eyes, three 15-16" and three 20"-20" & 22" - finally some nice fish over the desired table length.

All fish on the Uzick Spinner.

Gonna search again on Wednesday getting ready for the derby on Saturday at Perfect Vue.

Stay Tuned.

David aka Superdad

Ok, where can I get Uzick Spinners? :?: I have done a bunch of searches but can't even find a picture of them.

I will have the family at Presqu'ile Park next week, plan to wet the boat in Quinte in between runs out to the Bonnet. I will have a bunch of kids in the boat so I will have more lines to try something new. I have committed to a fish fry dinner for the family :? .

I make a trip to Perfect Vue every spring and fall; be nice to be in the derby I will be too late for that.

David, any chance getting a Uzick spinner, would like to try one and I know you do well with them, if you have any extra made up i'll pay you for your troubles. Then I won’t follow you all morning trying to snag your line….lol (Done very good this week as well, landed 15 on Friday, 7 in the morning and 8 evening) I'll try and save some for the weekend....
Tim

I would say It's not so much the spinner but more, how and where you're spinning it, and don't forget a chunk of worm

Wow. I was out Saturday. Fished Thompson's Bay and Sherman's to the boat launch. Two small walleye's and a crap load of silver bass. Seems like the bay is infested with those things right now.

Just got back from there and they took 2 dozen worms(silver bass), no eyes and I was on the water at sunup. Nailed the eyes last week, nothing there this morning, think the cold front did it...lol
