Last Saturday, my Dad and my wife and I hit the water and headed for the "Hot" spot according to all. We started trolling in Mallory and fished there along with eight or nine other boats, saw several nets over on the others and ours was working well also.
We fished with the Uzick Spinner and landed a total of six - 3 were 15-16" and they were released and all of us each caught one close to 20" or thereabouts.

Laker John came out on Wednesday to join me as we were scouting for the Derby on Saturday, we have withdrawn as I will be joining the3 campers from Bayview Resort to attend the funeral of one of our campers who passed last Tuesday.
We travelled widely and found fish right away and hit the short bite, our travels offered us nothing in locating more fish.

We called it a day after six hours.
We will be off the water until the 20th, but if I hear of anything, I'll post it up.
