I want to thanks Landshark for organizing the NCAA basketball pool, last March and donating a real nice prize. Those five Tail Dancers have been added to the tackle box.

Also wish to thank Mr Walleye for getting them up to Quinte - Thanks Peter.....

My story begins on Wednesday when Laker John and I were fishing and were looking for fish and headed up Long Reach to scout around, while I was there I stopped at Mr Walleye's place as he told where the lures were located at his "SHED???"

We docked the boat and I ran up and found the package with the lures and picked them up, I could see Tail Dancers in the box along with some tissue paper that was shredded......

Pushed away from the dock and fired the boat and was just offshore perhaps 100 feet, so I took the lures out to have a look, as I took the last one, there was something scrambling around in the box, no wonder the paper was shredded, there was a MOUSE in the box.

NO trouble making the decision - over the side and the mouse was on his own in the water. We watched in case a bass or a pike might get the critter. It swam perhaps 50 feet and the gulls noticed it right away. There was a flurry of dipping and diving and one gull landed and scooped it up, flew 20 feet and dropped it and the other one grabbed it quickly. I guess gulls aren't particular about their diet.

After that we left and laughed all the way back up the Reach.

Stay Tuned to see how the Tail Dancers work in the fall.......
