Saturday had 2 small 'eyes about 12 inches around Ram Island.

Sunday Joanne nailed 3 in about a 15 minute span on the charteuse uzick. 15, 16 & 18. About time as it's been long time since we've had pickeral for dinner :!:

For those used to seeing Joanne and I in the red Lund side console, when we return on the weekend of the 27th we'll be in this

Congratulations on both the new boat and putting some of those sweet tasting pickerel on the plate.

I'll be at Bayview Resort from the 26th to the 29th. Never stayed there before but have heard nothing but good things.

Will do Ken and yes the pic is there in the 2nd post. It's a good thing you got a new boat otherwise there would have been 2 Kens at Bayview each with a red Lund.

We had a couple of boats at Bayview Cottages on May 9, 10, and 11. Each boat (with 2 guys in each) caught from 10 to 40 walleye a day, but most were small (12-13") We did manage to catch a nice pair of 18" walleye's, but those were our biggest. We're headed back there May 26th and 27th. We'll be in a 35' 5th wheel. May see you there. By the way, just about all our fish were caught on bottom bouncers, in from 23-30 ft. of water, and mostly right in front of Bayview.

I was refusing to use the bottom bouncers (hate all that hardware), but when my buddies used them exclusively the first day and boated 70 or so pickerel the first day (one boat, 2 guys), I switched and did great the next day. In my first post, I used an average of 10-40 fish, but Randy and Jeremy did boat over 70 themselves (Randy's got a fine feel for setting the hook with those bottom bouncers).

Just cheap little spinners (mostly bright green with red beads) on 24" to 36" leaders with worms. Didn't need to try much more as these were working. Headed out this Thurs and Fri, so we'll see if they work again.
