2 guys here got one each in Madoc a bull and a cow. I saw pics of the cow but not the bull, I heard he was a good size though. What sucks is the giant one that everyone was talking about was hit by a transport on #7 just over a week ago, baseball bat diam at the bases, he was a giant. I have a picture of him from last year, I'll look for it and post it

My group of 3 for a Cow struck out, but we only hunted 2 days as that was the only time the tag holder had to hunt. :cry:

Saw a bunch in the area we hunted pre-season scouting, but if they are on the next property, and they do not allow hunting there, then they are just staying on the next property.

MNR checked us and said not many people were hunting (Wed/Thurs first week).

Friend of mine got a big cow elk. Was interviewed by OFAH and on Angler and Hunter radio.

There has been a big bull elk hanging out with some cows outside lakefield for the last couple weeks! Big drop tine on him approximately 8" Ive seen him numerous times there on the side of the road. I think he is a lil confused!

On the subject of elk, I was through the Wooler swamp last weekend and saw a track that is either a rogue cow or an elk. Just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of any elk in there.

I guess there was a big bull shot up by limerick lake I have a camp up that way had have seen and heard numerous elk in the last few years

adventure i also seen the tracks it is not an elk someone has pictures of it running down the road it is some sort of farmed deer that got loose but is the same size of a elk just cant remember the name of it it also has strate antlers no tickers at all
