finally a daytime showing, after sitting for 70 hours in the stand now I'd take this one in a second.

Cool, nice to see some antler.

Here's the problem I'm having seeing horns. This scenario has played out a few times now. I went out with the .270, rabbit coy and screamed tonight, but the dogs didn't show. I did find a deer leg and a pile of deer hair in the woods on the way in. I walked back a different way closer to the farmers house and saw a pile of lamb wool, skull and backbone from his herd of sheep. I think it's time to focus on the yotes for a while.

I just got back from putting more corn and apples out. Checked the camera and had 6 different deer in last night off and on. 3 bucks and 3 does.
Seems to be a hell of a lot more coyotes this year for some reason, guys are seeing them all the time lately. I shot at one 3 weeks ago in the field across from one of my stands. Missed him though. Now that the apples are gone from the trees they have seemed to move off for now. I can't guess how many piles of crap I walked over filled with apple skin. They'll eat anything.
-6 overnight here and I'm thinking about heading in shortly for a few hours. Tried something different baiting today too with putting the kids pumpkin guts out beside the apple and corn. Last year a friend of mine had most of his pumpkins eaten in the field by deer. Never know unless you try it eh?

We have used the old pumpkins from Halloween to bait deer with great success for years now! Will attempt to post a photo

Well it worked that's for sure, 93 pictures last night with 5 different deer eating everything I put down. Only thing they left was the pumpkin seeds. Now if I can just get them coming with some daylight I'd be laughing!!!!
