Does anyone know of any good creeks or rivers around this area or up north around the bancroft area??? Were lookin to fish for trout, pike or walleye, could someone please get back to me with the creek and river names and directions would also be great too... I know I would be askin a little to much if I asked for someone to send me a map of these places but if you feel like being nice then we are more then welcome to take it...
Hopefully I can get this info by tonight or tomorrow...

Thanks in advance

Are you in a boat?? If you go through Bancroft on hwy #62 the take the "Y" road until the end. Take a left and you will come to a cosway with lake on both sides. If you have a boat then you can launch there and go up to the lake fishing all the way. If you are shore fishing then there is usually good pike at this time of year and good bass when it opens. Good luck to ya!!

That is Baptiste - too bad all the pike got in that lake because it used to be an excellent walleye lake

I believe Baptiste has very little walleye reproduction. I would suggest that this reservoir may would need a good practical bio (good to me means heavy on the practical with just a smidgeon of study), to turn it around. The river leaving it and running through Bancroft has always looked interesting.
