Fished the trent behind fresh co yesterday aft and caught 12 fish. most were 2lbers but also managed to get a couple around 4 lbs and had a real heavy fish come off part way up. Had alot of missed hits, everything came on a 3/4 oz black bucktail jig tipped with a minnow.. bought the jigs and the minnows from pro tackle. Marked alot of fish. (thanks Paro)

Thanks for letting us know, Dan. I put the boat away yesterday so BOQ is out,but the son in law went somewhere near lock one on Thursday and tried to persuade me to go, but we are really busy here. Really want to give it a whirl. Maybe I'll see you there. Dave

i started at 12:30 and was off the water by 4:30pm. windy as all heck regardless the fish were biting pretty aggressively. Jigging it about 2 ft and letting jig fall slowly and often they would slam it on the drop. For me i never seem to get bit if i'm not keeping my line vertical

slipped out for 30mins this morning after dropping kids off at school managed one around 2lbs. The current in the mouth is brutal got a 2mile an hr drift. Spent more time trying to stay on the fish then fishing. Ive been out pretty much an hour daily and done amazing this year makes up for a slow year last year.
