Well Fellas...The WalleyeWon Crew will be making our annual trek down from Muskoka this coming Thursday (21st) through to Sunday trying our luck at landing some Quinte Gold! Hopefully the weather will cooperate and the ride down will remove the layer of snow from the boat.

On that note, and given the artwork I provided for Battle of the Bay last winter was well received...and honouring the fact my beloved Blackhawks were able to snuff out another Stanley Cup win, :D I will bring down another round of prints for Battle of the Bay prize table, one of these years I may actually make it myself.

If one of the organizer's of the event could PM me with a drop off spot or even stop by the cottage we are renting (Reese's Landing just east of Glenora) I will turn them over...I am sure an after fish libation could be had, let me know.

Weather permitting we plan on concentrating our efforts east of the ferry, we'll be in a 19ft Black and Silver Lund Crossover with a grey canvas top...feel free to give us a shout out with any tips. We enjoy a little Walleye Fish n' Chip diner and years past have had to jig up a couple of fillets from SOBEY'S Shoal.

Report to follow...be safe all!

Steve

Since I am on here all the time I have no idea how I could miss the battle of the bay. Is this a private tourney? And if not when and where?

Most welcome fellas, great cause, happy to support. I will connect up with Tylercurt at some point and deliver.

Chris...appreciate the feedback...hope it was Tony O.

I will throw this out there...and just a thought at this point, I have been considering for some time working on a piece capturing a Walleye attacking one of the famous fall "go to" baits used in the Bay of Quinte. My artwork these days is used for Fundraising and Charity work.
Awhile back I saw on this forum some fabulous underwater shots taken by a board member using one of those fancy underwater cameras...if this is something that we think might work as an ongoing fundraiser, charity offering and promotion for the Forum and BofQ Walleye fishing (ie offer prints for sale as momentos of Bay of Quinte trips at various sponsor locations) I think I would consider doing something. Just a thought...love to hear some feedback. I have done this in the past with price points that don't break a bank ($20-$40)
Looking forward to the trek tomorrow.

Steve
