Not good. Hope they find then and that they are ok. Always a reminder to be safe first.

Prayers are sent that these men are found safe and unharmed. They made it a law down here in NY a few years ago that after November 1st anyone in a boat less than 21 ft must wear a life jacket at all times.

Let's just hope they come home safe

Let the lower lights be burning,
Send a gleam across the wave!
Some poor fainting struggling seaman,
You may rescue, you may save.

Trim your feeble lamp, my brother;
Some poor sailor tempest tossed,
Trying now to make the harbor,
In the darkness may be lost.

That law makes no sense... Although it will probably save some lives...

Boat length doesn't mean as much as boat design...

A 21 foot bass boat won't be any better then a 16-20 foot deep V...

I'd feel safer in my 16 foot tiller then a 21 foot bass boat

Thoughts and prayers with their families at this difficult time. Not sure about the life jackets worn all the time as water temps would cause hypothermia within 15 minutes. I'll take my 21 foot Ranger bass boat over any 16foot tiller every day. At least mine won't sink if I get swamped!!

Excellent Law. Better chance of survival and if, lets hope not, you do not survive, there is a much chance of being found at the surface. Think of your families.
