Anyone know much about fishing off of Lemoine's Point?

I've fished there a few times over the years and done fairly well with the walleye. My problem is, every year, I forget when it is that it's best to fish there...end of May etc. The buddy that I usually tagged along with won't be available this year and I was hoping to head out soon. He can't quite remember either as it's usually someone else that tells him that they're in that area....then we go.

Also, I've been reading about many of you using lures like Husky Jerks, Rogues, the larger stick baits, etc. This maybe a really stupid question but are you trolling with these? Most presentations that I've heard of are casting with a stop and jerk motion. Any presentation tips or lure thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I should be keeping a journal but I know I'll loose it and it will be full of BS cathches

Thanks everyone.

I talked to a board member last year and he said the end of may is a good time for that area.

I'd troll them stickbaits for the big eyes.

Thanks Superdad.

I'll be heading out as soon as I can and post how it goes.
