Spent two more beautiful days on the BOQ this week. Wednesday was by far the best of the two. Went 8 for 10 all came from the bat cave/Kieths shoal area. The biggest would be 11.9, with the rest all being between 7 and 9lbs. 3 colors of lead with a deep reef grey ghost would be the best combo of that day for sure. I did get 4 on another deep reef pulled 100' behind the board(not sure on the color name). Strange thing is I tried to replicate the 3 color set on the other side of the boat, went all day with that set up and not a hit, go figure. Thursday was a different day with the wind in the morning made my passes a little more difficult. I was only able to manage 3 eyes with the biggest being 9.9. All fish were released back to the deep. Fished until dark both days, once again put in at Priners. Sad to hear about the missing boaters, it would sure be nice to hear they are ok. I learned a long time ago on my global 13 month camping trip in 1966 that bad things happen at night. Since then I have always given the night its due. Hope to make several more trips before it starts to harden up.

Great post, I got out with Scott last Sunday, he told me you were out on Saturday. I took one of his cancellations at the last minute. I hear your not doing the Trophy Hunt either. Stay safe out there and good luck with the remainder of the season.
