Cat that is. :P A true 17lb cat, well I dont think Trophyhunter weighed it but it would probably be right in around that mark. How he got it through the hole I dunno cause the head on that thing was bigger than the 8' auger we were using.
Cymbals got into a one about 8lbs and had started the day earlier with the hot hand landing 3 fish before anyone else caught anything and he wasnt using a graph.

Grizz nailed one that was a very short fish but had to of been the fattest belly i have seen on a fish. On the scales it came in at 9 and change.

All in all it was a great day with TrophyHunter, Cymbals and I getting 7 fish each and ole Grizz putting on a clinic catching 14. He must of felt bad about it cause he decided to buy us all lunch, thanks Grizz. Most fish were 2-5lbs. The graphs were lit up like a xmas tree but most were cruising and nary gave the bait a second look. Wished I had a underwater camera to put down just to see what they were. Its was a good day among friends with plenty of ball busting going around :P

Congrats guys.....awesome day!!! Dan, just to comment on a part of your post about the underwater camera, I used one for the first time on Saturday, and couldn't believe how many sheepies there are down there. At least in the area where we were. We only tried it off and on for a couple of hours, but it is a pretty cool thing.

That was a great day, great friends and lots of laughs , like Dan said Chuck put on a clinic 8O , I was going to move right beside him and spend the afternoon trying to snag his line with an airplane jig  ,,,,but the screen was loaded all day long and I was too busy trying to keep up with John , damn 70 year olds are hard to keep up too !

Grizzly is a pesky ol SOB !!! He can get pretty HOT, no homo...

I haven't had the chance to visit HIS bay this year yet but when I do, I'll be bringing lotsa food to sprinkle 400 yards from where he sets up.

I'm thinking pork rinds...... :)

was a great time boys I guess only thing in my mind that could have made it better would be the addition of two very good friends Landshark, and Trannyman (AL) id have given up half my fish to have had them there that day ok all my fish but since they were there I cough more than my fair share lol . Side note like Dan said that fish im holding is by far the shortest fattest fish I have ever seen come out of my bay even the picture really doesn't do it justice.
Did get out with Al today (Sunday) and he showed me what big fish look like lol he didn't out catch me in numbers (2 Each ) but both his fish were double digits a 10 plus, and a 12 plus Nice job today Albert!!!!

Sure was a good time fishing with Dan, Grizz and Bill. I thought they were going to make a big hole and put me in it after I started to catch a bunch of eyes before they got going. That's what happens when you get to be 70+ years. I hope to get together with these fine guys for another fun fish. Thanks for the lunch Grizz that was kind of you. Cymbals
