Ok This may or may not be a stupid question but when looking at the Crown Land Policy Atlas. How do I tell where peoples private property is? When i read the policys for a specific area it says I can hunt there but obviously I dont want to trespass. I dont see private property at all on the atlas.

Turn the legend on. It tells you what the different colours mean as far as the land designation. From there you just have to figure out where the border lines are. Our area down here isn't laid out very good mostly because it's almost all private. As you get further north you will see more crown land.

I see the land designations etc but its shows land right up to the roads where there would be private property I think.

Not sure I understand. Below shows areas with both General Use Area (yellowish colour) and private land (lots of Grey colour) along with Provincial Park and a forest reserve. There is a coordinates reader in the lower left corner which helps you find borders.

Where the hand is there is crown land (General Use area) on both sides of Hiway 7 with Private land on either side.

I hope that helps.
