Word is he was pulling a hut with sled ! Fell in at shore nuts are I know some of the lakes close by only had 3 to 5 inches on Saturday and it was def not sled ice

A small rant

So now no one has anything to say. Time and time again it has been said, wait, let it get colder. And for some reason people don't listen.

Well this is the sad result.

All the posts about how thick is the ice, what is the latest, why don't you post !!! I would say this is why.

Think before you go out. I feel sorry for this man's family.

After reading a few more articles, it doesn't sound like he was pulling a hut with a snowmobile. He had a tent style hut pulling it by hand with a sled. I did however see 2 snowmobiles in that same area a couple of days before this incident happened. Them guys are probably counting themselves lucky right now!!!

Four snowmobilers did go through on Jack Lake.....managed to get out safely
